I hope everyone had a wonderful winter break. As the new semester gets underway I would like to start off by introducing myself. My name is Georgia Sparks and I am currently a teacher’s assistant in your child’s first grade classroom. I have been a teacher’s assistant at Level Cross Elementary for the past eight years. Starting in January I will begin student teaching in your son/daughters classroom. This opportunity is the last step I will take before receiving my Bachelors Degree in elementary education from Pfeiffer University and I’m very excited to be here at Level Cross Elementary. I will be in the classroom working with Ms. Bertson from the beginning of January through the middle of April. I feel as though all my training and experience has prepared me for this endeavor. I will be working closely with Ms. Bertson to plan and teach lessons in the classroom. I’m looking forward to working with you and your child in the upcoming weeks. We will have many wonderful experiences and opportunities to learn and grow in the days ahead.
